The OWCA Bowls season commenced on 3 September with a successful outing at MCC Swinburne. We entered two teams - one victorious (22 to 8), and the other won on the last end by four shots (22 to 18). This was followed by our annual match against the West Brighton Club where we were able to retain the trophy.
We finished last season on a high. Although we finished in fifth position, we were number one in rank order, before losing momentum after lunch. This result is our best in several years and we hope to claim the prize in 2026. Our team looked fabulous in new vests supplied by the OWCA committee. We thank them for their ongoing support.
If you would like to join us, please contact me. We are always looking for new blood to boost the ranks. Our match days are always enjoyable outings. All games commence at 11am and conclude at 2pm, with a break at around 12.30pm for lunch.
