2025 Lyrebird Awards
Three huge cheers for Wesley student theatre! Students and staff from the Glen Waverley Campus have won an incredible six awards in the competitive 2025 Lyrebird Awards.
We are so proud of our dedicated performing arts community. These awards are a testament to the passion, talent and teamwork that define student theatre at Wesley College.

Winner of 5 awards:
- Best Production - Youth Musical
- Best Ensemble - Youth Musical
- Marcus Pinnell, Head of Student Theatre, for Best Director - Youth Musical
- Kate Lefel for Best Choreographer - Youth Musical
- Matthew (Year 10) was awarded Highly Commended Performer for 'The Addams Family'
Black Comedy
Patrick (Year 11) was awarded Best Comedic Performer - Youth Play for 'Black Comedy'
