Outstanding academic achievement

Glen Waverley Year 11 student, Aimee Bowles, has been awarded entry to the Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program at Melbourne University. This is on top of her Monash Scholars Program prize, which she received early last year. Both academic enrichment programs are designed to provide high achieving students the opportunity to gain an understanding of university life.

Outstanding academic achievement

Students have the chance to develop leadership and community involvement skills, meet other like-minded students, gain access to university resources and networks, and explore career options.

This is a huge achievement for Aimee, who is busy undertaking her first year of the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Her favourite subject is biology, which she hopes to pursue later in life by studying science at university.

Aimee encourages other students to take advantage of the opportunities made available at Wesley, as this is what makes time spent at school so enjoyable.

Wesley congratulates Aimee on her outstanding achievements. We wish her the very best with her future studies.
