As part of our commitment to service, giving and supporting our community, all students from Prep to Year 9 at the Elsternwick Campus participated in the annual Canstruction competition.

Each year level collected cans that were then donated to the Richmond Food Centre, supporting those challenged by day to day living costs and access to basic needs.

The ‘can drive’ generated a lot of excitement and before we sent the cans off, all year groups participated in CANSTRUCTION – a construction made of cans! The theme was ‘Landmarks’ and creative structures included ‘The Great Wall of China’, ‘The Colosseum’, ‘Stonehenge’ and even the MCG!

It was with great pride that Wesley Elsternwick sent off 930 cans of food to help feed those in our community who are need.
